Today the students will be watching a short documentary on the future of Robotics. This will serve as an overarching view of where the world is headed. It will also serve as the baseline for us to discover where Robotics has come from.
Key Target: I can understand the future capabilities of Robotics in order to understand the progression of their development.
How Robots Will Change the World - Documentary
Students will answer the following questions while viewing the Documentary.
1. Identify a minimum of 3 different Robot Types discussed inside of the film.
2. Identify 3 possible uses for Robots that could help improve productivity around the world.
3. Identify 2 possible negative consequences of developing robots in the future.
Tomorrow we will be looking at the history of Robots and getting our first set of Vocabulary.
